Man-made marvels

Flyover is a high-level overpass that crosses over a highway interchange or intersection.
We proudly say about the new flyover built in Bangaluru. The Hebbal flyover is the sixth built by the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA). Built in a record 24 months' time, it boasts of five loops along with a bridge at the grade level and is aimed at decongesting the National Highway No. 7.  The Rs 65-crore flyover is the longest in the country running up to 5.35 km, with two separate carriageways and six lanes and is said to be South India's first interchange at five levels.  About 21 years earlier itself Norway has constructed these wonderful flyovers.
The Atlantic Road was opened in 1989 and is now toll-free. Chosen as “Norway’s construction of the century” in 2005, the 8.72-kilometre (5.4 miles) long road links together small coastal communities. See also the wonderful flyover built in Norway with multiple lanes with a good greenery behind this scene.
